Everyone likes the winter season. The cold air makes everyone happy, but this cold air also brings trouble for the skin. Cold air pulls out the natural moisture from the skin. Those whose skin is already dry, it becomes even more troublesome. As soon as the skin becomes dry, the glow of the face seems to disappear. The skin needs more care in winter than in other seasons. Therefore, if the right skin care routine is followed, then skin dryness can be managed very easily.

Just like there is a difference between morning and night, light and darkness, there is a similar difference between morning and night skin care. Therefore, you have to follow a different skin care routine in the morning and at night. Actually, when you leave the house in the morning, the environment is different and so is the damage caused to the skin. To manage this damage, you have to prepare your skin accordingly. Follow the routine given below in the morning.

  • After waking up in the morning, the first thing you should do is clean your skin. Since your skin is dry, you should use a mild, gentle and hydrating face wash.
  • After that apply serum on the skin. Serum has a high concentration of antioxidants, due to which it protects you from the damage caused by harmful radicals.

  • After applying the serum, apply moisturizer on your face. If your skin is dry, do not miss this step even by mistake. Keep in mind that after washing your face, always apply moisturizer on soft skin immediately. It will keep your skin hydrated.
    • When we are talking about morning skin care routine, how can we forget sunscreen. In fact, even though the sun is less felt in winter, it can still damage your skin. Therefore, use a sunscreen with at least 30 SPF in the morning. Apart from this, if you go out, try to cover yourself properly and wear sunglasses. If you want, you can follow your routine makeup along with following the above steps. While in this season, give place to hydrating makeup products instead of matte, so that the skin does not look dry and stretched.

Night skin care routine
Night time is the time when your skin takes care of itself. Therefore, it is very important to take proper care of your skin before sleeping at night.

  • The first thing to do at night is to remove your makeup. You can use an oil-based cleanser or oil cleansing to remove makeup. This will help break down the makeup and will also make it easier to clean the skin.
  • After removing makeup, wash your face with face wash. You can use a water based cleanser to clean your face.
  • After cleaning your face, exfoliate your skin to remove the dead skin cells from your skin. But keep in mind that you should do this step only once a week, because over-exfoliating your skin will cause you more harm than good.
  • Now use toning mist on the face. This will hydrate your skin as well as prepare it to absorb other skincare.
  • After doing this, apply serum on the skin. If your skin is dry, then you should use serum containing hyaluronic acid and vitamin E in winter.
  • Now apply a high powered moisturizing night cream on your face before going to bed at night. This will help in repairing your skin as well as in removing many skin problems. So try to choose a good moisturizing cream keeping in mind your skin type and skin problem.

Keep these things in mind during skin care
We often follow a good skin care routine. Still, the skin does not get the results that we expect. This can happen if we keep the following things in mind.

  • It feels good to take a bath with hot water in winter, but we should avoid taking hot showers for a long time because it takes away the natural moisture from our skin, due to which our skin becomes more dry.
  • Your skin needs more moisturizing in winter, so don't use the moisturizer used in summer. Your moisturizer should be a little thick, so that it can keep your skin hydrated for a long time in winter.
  • Washing the face is important for skin care, but do not clean the face with face wash more than once or twice a day.
