A guide to get healthy and glowing skin during monsoons)

Along with the weather, the needs of skin and hair also change. If you want your skin and hair to look beautiful in the rainy season like every season, then adopt monsoon skin and hair care tips.

Skin Care

Often the skin becomes oily during the rainy season due to which acne appears on the skin. In such a situation, what should be done to avoid acne and take proper care of the skin? Let us tell you.

Facewash
Use anti-fungal soap or face wash to wash your face during rainy season. This will keep your skin clean and glowing and will also reduce the chances of fungal infection and acne.

Cleansing
Like every season, regular cleaning of the face is necessary in the rainy season too. Use a cleanser for this. This will clear the dust and dirt stuck on the skin, the closed pores of the skin will open up, the skin will be able to breathe freely and the problem of acne will automatically reduce.

Moisturizing
Use moisturizer to maintain the moisture of the skin during rainy season. Give preference to water proof moisturizer in this season and if your skin is oily, then apply moisturizer on the face only twice a day. People with normal skin can use it as per their need.

Toning
Do not forget to tone your skin regularly during the rainy season. Toning reduces the chances of acne. Using toner not only tightens the skin but also brightens it. Use a non-alcoholic toner.

Sunscreen
Some people think that there is no need to apply sunscreen in the rainy season, but doing so is not right. Yes, if you want, you can use a sunscreen with 50 SPF instead of 75 SPF in the rainy season, but do not stop using sunscreen completely. Doing so can cause sunburn.

Foundation
Apply water proof or water resistant foundation. By doing this the makeup will get a water proof base and the base makeup will last for a long time.

Eye Liner
For eye makeup, use water proof or water resistant mascara and eye liner. It does not spread even when exposed to water.

Eyeshadow
Choose light and pastel shades for eye shadow, like light brown, light pink, peach etc.

Lipstick
Buy long lasting waterproof lipstick. It will last longer and will not smudge when it comes in contact with water.

Blusher
Like foundation and lipstick, buy water proof blusher too. Yes, use a light shade blusher instead of a dark one. Light and fresh shades look good in monsoon.

Hair Care

Shampoo
Use a mild shampoo to wash your hair. Try to wash your hair daily or every other day during the rainy season, because dust and dirt stick to wet hair, which makes the hair dirty very quickly.

Conditioner
To keep your hair silky soft during the rainy season, apply a conditioner immediately after shampooing. Choose a conditioner based on the quality of your hair (e.g. oily, dry).

anti hair fall products
Hair falls rapidly during rainy season. To avoid this, use anti-hair fall products, such as anti-hair fall shampoo, conditioner etc. Doing this will reduce hair fall.

anti dandruff hair products
The problem of dandruff also increases in monsoon. In such a situation, give priority to anti-dandruff hair products. Wash hair regularly and do not let the hair remain wet for a long time, otherwise the problem of dandruff will increase.

lukewarm water
Use lukewarm water to wash your hair. This does not make your hair dry. Whereas using very hot water weakens the roots of your hair and makes your hair look dry and lifeless.

Avoid using a hair dryer
It is true that it takes longer for hair to dry in the rainy season, but this does not mean that you should use a hair dryer to dry your hair. Dry your hair by patting it with a towel. This will not weaken the roots of the hair.

Avoid rainwater
Rainwater contains a lot of chemicals that can harm the hair. So protect your hair from rainwater, otherwise the chemicals can damage your hair.
