1) Before applying makeup, wash your face with mild face wash or lukewarm water.
2) Before applying makeup, rub ice on your skin for 5-10 minutes. After this, if you apply makeup, it lasts longer.
3) Before applying makeup, massage your face with oil-free moisturizer.
4) Now first apply dots of foundation on the forehead, nose, chin and cheeks and then blend the foundation by tapping it gently with your fingers. If you want, you can also blend the foundation well with a wet sponge.

12) If you want to do smokey eye makeup, then apply dark grey eyeshadow on the upper eyelid and smudge it well. For a more smoky look, apply black eyeshadow over the grey eyeshadow and blend both with a big brush. After this, apply eyeliner on the lashline. Then smudge the eyeliner well with the help of a smudger brush or eye bud. Finally apply kajal.
13) Now apply blusher to highlight the cheek bone. Apply blusher from the cheekbone towards the ear. Also keep in mind that the shades of blusher and lipstick should match each other.
14) If you want to highlight the eye makeup, then keep the lip makeup light, i.e. apply light shade lipstick like pink, peach. If you are keeping the eye makeup light, then apply bright colour lipstick like red, orange, maroon.
15) Use a lip brush to apply lipstick. This will ensure that the lipstick is applied evenly on the entire lips and will last longer.
16) If your lips are very thin, then outline a little outside the lipline and then apply lipstick.
17) If your lips are very thick, then outline the lipline from inside. First apply a light shade on the lips, then apply a dark shade in the center of both and blend it with a brush.
18) Use bright coloured lipstick to make your lips look bigger. Use dark coloured lipstick to make them look smaller.
19) Finally apply gloss.
